
Creative Support is an innovative intervention service which is being used increasingly in schools as an additional element to SEN departments and inclusion units. It promotes the emotional well being of the child and in that way helps schools address the S.E.A.L requirements. It is a highly effective processs.

Creative Support is highly effective in helping a school meet these standard requirements.
Therapy, techniques are suitable for individuals aged from 4 years to young adult. Creative play is a non verbal creative approach to exploring emotional needs and understanding the self.
• Provides a safe environment in which the individual can explore experiences and feelings.
• Uses the creative play Therapy, process as a method to empower the child to develop self understanding and to self regulate behaviour.
• Helps the child experience a more positive life at school and at home, and to develop a more optimistic outlook on the future.
This child led process gives an opportunity for the individual to make decisions and explore difficult emotions through symbolic play.
• Non directive play Therapy, techniques; art, clay, storytelling, puppetry, movement, music, sand tray.
• Creative assessment tools including recognised questionnaires to assess needs.
